Bliss, the people that founded the United States and sailed overseas on the boats to get here were all white people with a mentality similar to that of Donald Trump. The Native Americans inhabited the country before the incoming Americans have. Those people took that country away from the inhabitants that were here before us. England had control of us, then they lost it when America gained its independence in 1776. IMO, we should still be under British rule. When America's independence was established, it was established with the intention of over-incarcerating and economically disenfranchising the Native Americans afterwards. The same thing happens with Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, etc.
You're all over the place and still did not offer why anyone would feel ashamed to be born...and with skin that is "White". No one on earth should declare shame "if they were". Furthermore you're injecting your opinion and assumptions of thought into your synopsis of 400 years of selective historical interactions.
And yet men like you say they like white women. A white woman would be crazy to talk to be with owners of some of the men on this forum. A daily conversation would be them sitting at the table and him complaining about how much he hates white people. How comfortable of a conversation would that be. These men love white women but hate white men which just happen to be the co makers of the women y'all say y'all love love. Smh.
IMO blanket statements like that are never very wise Mike. Throughout history there have been good and bad people of every shade, skin color does not dictate anything but how much melanin a particular person has in their epidermal layer. Nor should anyone be held guilty by association by the bad acts of someone else simply because they share some of the same physical characteristics (hell back in the middle ages, left handed people were seen as "evil" and sometimes killed for it), no more than they should feel proud of the accomplishments of those that share the same physical characteristics.
Bliss, Look at the way white people are going to be voting now in comparison to how non-whites vote. When you look at the results when the election day comes around, you will see something like Clinton picking up 40% of the white vote while Trump receives 55% of the white vote. Compare that to the non-white vote, where Clinton should receive around 75% of it. I am not saying it's everyone who's white. I'm just saying it's still there and it's most vocal with your ethnic group. In my defense, you need to view this: http://theracecardproject.com/sometimes-im-ashamed-of-being-white/ There is a race war going on now, especially because of the election. The writer of this article, who is a white guy, is actually someone I agree with. Here is a part of it. http://www.dbknews.com/2016/07/28/the-problem-with-todays-race-war/
I admit now, I should have re-worded what I said. My concern is that it somehow appears to be justified, for various reasons as if "bad" people of all races are a lot more prevalent in the United States than in anywhere else in the world. Do you think that's intentional or is there some social engineering that has gone on? I will confidently say this to you though, if Trump does really manage to pull ahead on election day and defeat Clinton, it does indeed reflect that as of the election day, the majority of Americans (especially older white americans) really are not good people.
There is no race war because if there is we will lose. I'm just letting you know that now. We REALLY. Don't want that
Maybe, but I still say that senator (I forget his name) is stupid enough to think he wants a race war. He truly does not.
