    LOL. Classic.

Just feeds that whole narrative that Trump's campaign is one massive con job.

Yep, it's like he is Ross Perot-ing and splitting just enough of the votes for the clintons to win. The difference, of course, is that Ross is a good man.

I still think that Trump genuinely wanted to run for his own ego and it that it had nothing to do with Clinton at all, but he had no idea he'd actually end up with the nomination. Sadly, the modern conservative movement is so unbelievably fucked up that the joke ended up being on him.

    Agree 100%.

IMO Trump wants the fame and glory of being POTUS, but he's not ready for the day to day GRIND of being the leader of the free world.

Huh? The man put in the day to day grind running casinos, hotels, golf resorts, tv shows, a beauty pageant and a Corporation overall. I know you guys are die-hard Lefties, but implying he doesn't work hard is bull.

He sure as fuck doesn't work hard he delegates. He's not a small business owner, he tells others what to do and they grind. Definitely not the same thing.

And that's what a POTUS does, sweetheart. Delegates.
Although if you saw his son's spectacular speech tonight, Trump was often on job sites, helping mix cement and hanging sheet rock. In true layman's terms, THAT'S grinding.

No that's called a photo opp. I know you weren't raised here so you didn't probably associate much with the private school silver spoon crowd growing up but Trump is like every other silver spooner. They live by the idea that if there is hard work to be done someone else should do it while they profit greatly from it. I do not believe for one second that spoiled rich kid did any hard labor. Even his number one best seller the art of the deal was written by someone else.
And a president does delegate you're right but I completely reject this none sense of running the country like a business. A business has no other purpose other than to make money with no concern of equal distribution or concern for workers outside of what they can produce. A government is suppose to run in the best interests of its citizens, creating a good living situation for all not just some.

Being Commander In Chief is simply way more demanding than any of those jobs.

All the daily briefings, policy meetings, international junkets, setting the agenda for the Pentagon and State Department, presiding over meetings with the joint Chiefs of Staff, etc., the press conferences, is more intellectually and psychologically demanding than anything IMO Trump has ever done in his life.

On top of that, Trump isn't really a detail oriented guy and he has profound contempt for our political system and how things get done in Washington.

Trump will be the most uninformed person in most Oval Office meetings because he doesn't care about doing his own research on policy.

In that sense he's going to be another George Dubya, which means Mike Pence will probably be his Dick Cheney.:smt030

The confidence man has yet to explain HOW he's going to bring American manufacturing jobs back and raise overall wages.

Trump is promising to do things no POTUS can do.

To be honest I'd rather have a tech billionaire as POTUS if we're looking for a CEO type to be in the Oval Office.

An intellectually lazy POTUS usually means trouble for the American people.

I just don't think Trump at this point in his life has the stamina, drive or motivation to be an effective POTUS.

The campaign itself has taken a toll on Trump. He's gained weight and his face looks bloated.

I'd say that Trump may end up being even worse. Even Bush II was able to at least pretend to look informed during the 2000 campaign, and he at least showed spark of intellectual curiosity.

Trump reminds me more of Sarah Palin than anything else; he is a man completely out of his depth on nearly every major issue and his lack of knowledge shows every single time he opens his mouth.

If that actually happened, it wouldn't surprise me in the least. Trump looks like a man who took a practical joke way too far and has no way to get out of it.

Absolutely! I totally agree with you. Everything we see and hear from that clan supports that there's no way those priviledged... whatever they are would ever be getting their hands dirty. It's totally about the photo op and nothing more.

Why should we give a billionaire more power than he deserves? This is not about the country, it's all about the superego of Donald J. Trump.

You are oversimplifying. Its more about people being insecure, and not knowing how to be anything other than miserable. With that said its inevitable for people like Trump to be in leadership in some shape form or fashion. I'm voting for Hilary but if trump wins I'll be ignoring politics for the duration of his term. No point in following all of the headlines or reading the dumb articles. Just check the box for congressional democrats for midterm elections and keep it moving.

These insecure, miserable and angry people simply see Trump as that alternative to a career politician. Folks want to see a shakeup in our government. Not really aware of the price to be paid sooner rather than later.
