Saying that it wasn't all or only the Clinton foundation is like saying it wasn't just Bernie Madoff or Goldman Sachs, you're still culpable for your shitty behavior. And truthfully I never expected Bernie to get everything done on his own I did expect voting him would galvanize people to vote out the assholes blocking American progression. Enough with the we can't get it done and it's unrealistic. Why is it unrealistic? It's truly as simple as seeing who votes for what and keeping those who help you and voting out those who don't. The things he's proposing are fucking cheap in comparison to all the corporate welfare and over spending on the military budget that we already spend. People act as if what he's proposing is so damn unreasonable when it's pure common sense.
I don't believe in Hilary because plain and simple how the fuck can someone who's a multimillionaire and so powerful really give two shits about regular people. Our concerns are worlds away from hers. She doesn't know hunger, she doesn't know fear or hopelessness, she doesn't know poverty she is far too insulated and far too removed to be compassionate. Especially when her campaign and persona money comes from corporations. Who does it make sense that she'll align with seriously?

Vote your conscience. As long as you do that, it's not a problem. Don't let anyone vote for you. Your vote is YOUR VOICE.

Not aiming this at anyone in particular, but:

You gotta be stupid if you're black and voting for trump.

There are a million and one reasons to not vote for the guy, even before you get to all the racism stuff.

the guy isn't even in office yet and he's making veiled threats to other heads of state. I don't remember the incident exactly, but one british politician said something anti-trump, and when the remark was brought to trump's attention, the pig-eyed new york mafioso bully responded with "I'll remember that."

The guy says the irs is auditing him likely because he's such "a strong christian." Dude is an obvious, cynical conman. If you have any intellect, he's an insult to it.

The guy obviously doesn't have the brains nor the temperament to be prez.

I sometimes entertain the paranoid notion that americans are being dumbed down.

Like, tv has done all the intellectual "heavy lifting" for a whole generation, and much like astronauts' muscles and bones atrophy in micro-gravity from lack of exercise, the mental capacities of a whole generation are becoming more feeble because tv means they don't have to use their imaginations much to be entertained (all you gotta do is sit there and drool...). Also tv isolates them from social scenarios where they have to think on their feet and thus exercise their "mental muscles"....

After seeing this election cycle and the rise of trump, I'm thinking this idea isn't so paranoid after all...

I'm not telling anyone whom or whom not to vote for. I knew a lot of guys who are democrats and from time to time they would vote republican. So it stands to reason that these guys are independent because of what a candidate stands for and how they view the issue(s) in their decision.

    The decision is yours.

I will say this AGAIN AND AGAIN, politics is not about moral piety because the very nature of politics is shady and even well intentioned politicians end up having special interests. Judging a politician on morals is incredibly naive, you choose the lesser of the 2 evils and just move on or don't vote at all. If people think Obama is as clean as a whistle, then I have a bridge to sell the person. If indeed you want to vote, look at Trump and Hilary and look yourself in the mirror and ask yourself if you can openly say you will vote for Trump if you are African-American, Mexican/Latino, a woman, a Muslim or every other demographic he has insulted.

You can have all the hatred for Hilary but voting for Trump because of that hatred is like cutting your nose to spite your face and its plain dumb.

Yep -- people who would vote for such an obvious conman are sad indeed. Dude isn't even subtle about his shit.

To what you said in bold, I apologize to you if some of my actions in the past on here contributed to lower site participation. I remember that you/others and I used to bump heads on here during my college days when I posted on here. Now that I'm a participant in the workforce, I try to post here with more maturity. Regarding the rest of what you said, I really see it now. People to tend to form friendships with certain kinds of people for "invisible" reasons while they really dislike others and in that case, race doesn't matter.

Everyone's entire life is a lesson and each person comes away with something different based on their experiences and circumstances, both the good and the bad.

That's all we were ever trying to point out to you. Wisdom is not always gained through simply reading books or the think pieces of other people on the internet. Sometimes you have to live & experience things firsthand.

I have some of that so far. My experience with work as a software tester/business analyst is contractor/client based.

With both positions I've had so far, it's primarily been Indian men and Indian women that I'm having some problems operating with. No problems with anyone else in the last 2 years I've been working.

Currently, I have some instability in my job right now and I'm searching for another company to work for, hoping to get something in a more appropriate work environment.

Just curious but what kind of problems are you having with them??

It is difficult for me to explain, it has to do with their general behavior, communication style, body language and hygiene. The client site (USDA, National Agricultural Statistics Service) realizes the issues we (the contractors) are going through. It's basically the Ethiopian girl I work with and myself against the Indians within the contracting company, which is Snap, Inc. So for a while now there has been this 2 against 2 vibe going on here. The client's business side basically laughs at Rajiv at the meetings based on the way he is treating me and her. He is frustrated and has a hard time communicating his errors to me. The project manager (a tall black guy) minimizes his interaction with him, especially during the bi-weekly status meetings. I don't see him often anymore even though he is online through the system and in the building.

I also realize that to some extent, they are trying to take over the Information Technology industry and it isn't exactly working too well because there is pushback from american hiring managers and recruiters. This causes the indians to self-segregate and form their own enclaves/companies. I realize now that actually finding a place to work goes beyond just having the experience needed to perform the job. There are many other variables that I have to take into consideration.

These are the people I'm having a hard time with by the way.

The above article is pretty gross, they do that disgusting stuff in their home country, and possibly, they could still be doing those things here. In some ways, this reinforces what those other people were saying about multiculturalism in advanced countries. If it goes too far, we have social unrest up ahead. I'm not trying to troll WWBM, but we should really give some thought into this. Maybe multiculturalism really can't completely work in America and other advanced economies.

    http://bigstory.ap.org/article/16e5...4/africans-india-face-constant-battles-racism

This article basically explains that they have some distorted, bizarre view of us, as if we are alien to them simply because of our skin and their skin. I'm fortunate to have gained valuable work experience, but I've simply given up with them and I'm unemployed again, hopefully for a short period time.

The first link is well known about. ( l love Indian food and pray my imported curry spice (and basmati) doesn't have poop in it).

That second link was horrible to read.
I remember a publicized case here where an Indian father-in-law murdered (put out a hit on) his son's black American wife because marrying her brought shame to their culture. He went to jail.

I find huge differences between 2nd generation Indians born in the U.S. and foreign workers contracted by U.S. companies.

There's a culture class too between 'American' Asians and foreign born Asians.

    Too much too fast IMO.

    This quote from the BBC link literally blew my mind;

A new World Health Organisation (WHO) report says more than half a billion people in India still "continue to defecate in gutters, behind bushes or in open water bodies, with no dignity or privacy".

Got damn. 500 million people in India take a dump just wherever??
    Awful.

You would think there's a money making opportunity for some company like porta johns.
India just has too many fucking people.

    Interesting articles fam
Is that why we typically only see white and Indian faces in tech?
Are blacks essentially being pushed out?

not enough apply. I've never been on a team where I wasn't the only black person on the team.

Luckily, I've never had a boss that was a foreigner.
