You never know what motivates someone. Politicians are generally an odd breed....this election has really brought it out.

I wouldn't be surprised by anything at this point.

Now Trump is stealing Bernie Sanders' and Elizabeth Warren's populist message;

If any undecided voter suddenly thinks Trump is a man of the people, shame on you.

If Hillary wins Pennsylvania and Ohio, she walks into the WH.

Trump's been using Bernie's attack lines against Hillary

With "friends" like St. Bernie who needs enemies? Oh that's right, he's not a Democrat

It was great to see St. Bernie get crushed in CA. Hillary took LA county and all the ultra-liberal counties around SF. I thought Bernie would have killed it there. I love seeing these Bernie-Bots get curb-stomped, they deserve it

HRC took PA back in 2008. I won't say OH is a lock but it looks good

Bruh you need to chill on the name calling and personal attacks.
The only way Bernie's revolution takes place is with full support of a democratically controlled Senate and House of Representatives.

As things stand now, Bernie would face even more obstruction in Congress than Obama did.

That said, IMO Bernie should secretly suspend his campaign and not entirely drop out of the race.

I've been reading about Uranium One deal and the Clintons and the millions of dollars in donations that flowed to the Clinton foundation after selling 20% of the U.S. uranium assets first to a Canadian company that was later purchased by the Russians.

It reads like the early days of Watergate and the final sale to Russia would not have gone through without Hillary, other governmental agencies and the Canadian government approving the deal.

http://www.judicialwatch.org/press-...s-on-hillary-clinton-russian-uranium-scandal/

IMO Bernie needs to lay low in the weeds for a minute because this could potentially blow up in Hillary's face even though she already has the nomination.
If Bernie really wanted to win he should have brought this up in the primaries.

Bernie has great ideas and talks a good game but he's never identified as a Democrat, he's 74, he's yet to be attacked for his socialist views in a general election and doesn't have the support on Capitol Hill to put his revolution into motion.

How many Americans do you think are going to be cool with having their taxes raised to pay for free college education and government run health care??:smt108

If Bernie couldn't win California, he got crushed in that primary, then it proves his candidacy is much weaker than his supporters are willing to admit.

His ideas are right about where we should be as a nation, but he himself is seen as a fringe candidate.

Except it isn't

Bernie-Bots and conservatives have a lot in common, including dismissal of facts

Again, I thought Bernie would have killed it in ultra-lefty SF counties like Marin where he lost

What facts are being dismissed. Plain and simple black people are brand whores the amount of blacks supporting her is incredibly disappointing, actually the amount of progressives supporting her period is disappointing. On a very basic visceral level how can anyone think for a moment that a multimillionaire is going to have your best interests at art. Absolutely not one of her decisions will effect her anywhere near the way it will effect you.
She has no clear plans on economic and poverty issues in fact she didn't bring this shit up until she saw that it was popular with the Bernie crowd.
So yay you got what you wanted another ego maniac business as usual liar who will do everything to make sure her donors get what they want while the rift between the rich and everyone else gets bigger.
Take a bow smh

LOL. Dude chill.

On every policy issue there's very little separation between Hillary and Bernie.

The difference is Bernie has been on this train since the 1960s.
Hillary's social and economic policy has evolved over time but she's not getting ready to suck punch America.

If you want a clue as to how Hillary will govern, you've got 8 years of Bill and 8 years of Obama as a template.

Except this time we have an energized progressive base that's going to push Hillary further to the left.

If Elizabeth Warren is chosen to be Hillary's VP, the progressives will have effectively boxed Hillary in and given her no choice but to govern more from the left.

Bernie supporters seem to think he can start a revolution by himself.
But how many congressman and senators is Bernie going to get elected this fall??

Stop talking revolution. Bernie needs to show he can change the system by first changing the ideological composition of Congress.

He's going to need supermajorities in the House and Senate to get any of his legislative goals implemented.

Do that, become Senate majority leader and suddenly Bernie becomes the 2nd most powerful man on Capitol Hill.
More important for Bernie's agenda IMO than being POTUS.

Hillary may be more of the same but I really don't think she's going to be allowed to govern as a corporate Democrat.

If she does, don't be surprised to see her face a primary challenge in 4 years.

Random political comment.....WTF happened to Bill Clinton???

He looks and sounds like he's got one foot in the grave.
I know he had open heart surgery a few years ago, but damn he looks awful.:smt095

If Hillary wins the election I have a sick feeling we're going to see a state funeral for Bill Clinton during the four years of her first term.

I did notice that Bill looked a bit frail as of late. I saw him about 5 years ago and he was quite energetic.

I've been needing to vent about something but I can't cause the problem starter is technically my boss. For any of you that live in the 11 states (of the US) that joined in the lawsuit over the bathrooms ... what bothers me about this (aside from the discrimination) is (1) in my state the Attorney General decided on his own to pursue this, and (2) his office is expending tremendous state resources on this lawsuit. The Complaint filed in Federal Court in Wichita Falls, TX by 11 states takes issue with a federal gov't guideline --there's no conflict with state law. If my state don't like it, my state can just ignore it. Oh but no, we gotta go make a statement. What bothers me is how does the AG get to decide the people are opposed? That the people care enough to invest all these resources fighting this?

Your AG probably has long term political aspirations and wants his constituents to know where he stands on social issues.

Like you suggested this is just a political stunt by the 11 states filing the lawsuit, a reflexive reaction to anything Obama is in favor of.

Transgender people nationwide are like a quarter of one percent of the entire U.S. population, there never will be that many of them because it's such a specific psychological condition and there's literally been no incidence of a transgender person sexually assaulting someone in a pubic restroom.

Conservatives not too long ago could almost guarantee support from 'family values' voters by being vocally anti-gay.

Today screaming about the abomination of homosexuality from a podium will get you labeled a bigot and make you lose voters.

Right wingers are having a temper tantrum over this because they can, but the issue is so minor I expect it to fade from the public consciousness soon.

I'm hearing more and more claims of quid pro quo(pay to play) with the Clinton Global Initiative that IMO Sanders definitely should NOT end his campaign and only suspend it.

Too many dots are connecting with Clinton foundation donors and subsequently being appointed to high level federal government commissions or being granted coveted government deals.

I posted an article about it well over a month ago that everyone ignored.

It's nice that it's finally being acknowledged by more media outlets.

I don't see Clinton surviving her candidacy to the convention. IF the DOJ doesn't indict her (which I don't know that they'll be able to get away with not doing it after everything that's starting to come out with more frequency) I don't see how she'll be able to run either way.

And as all of the California votes haven't been counted yet, Sanders should not suspend his campaign until at least July 8th, when the final results will be released.

Though, I don't think he should concede at all because of all of the information that's coming out regarding the Clintons in general and Hillary in particular.
