She's been in the US since she was like 18 and emulates black rappers with her"southern accent". She's well aware of American culture.
That means for 18 years she didn't know much about the American culture. I doubt she cares to know. This is for making me wiki someone that I don't care about:
BW use it as a racist against WW...just like "pink toe". They don't use racist names like that for WM though.....hmmmm.
Ok, I'm going to say it. Beyonce threw out the buzzwords "Becky" and "good hair" KNOWING full well that it would strike at the insecurities of her fan base (black women)
Cares enough to move here and drop her accent, pick up an Americanized hood accent, immerse herself in the black community and culture as well as be up on slang like "Becky" which isn't that common compared to other racial words. She either picked up that shit she said about blacks, Asians and Hispanics in Australia out out here. When it comes to stereotypes and racism, that is a universal language. Also, regardless if someone cares enough about something or not, if they are around it enough, they will know something about it. Especially with social media. People get Bruce Jenner, Kanye West, North Korea and Donald Trump shoved in their faces on a regular basis and people will have some general knowledge of all these things even of they have zero interest in them. Race issues are no different. If you've been living somewhere for almost a decade and don't know the culture, with no language barrier, something is wrong.
Nope, that's 'hood-specific'. I've never heard it used toward anyone but African-American or Latina women in the 'ghetto'. It's supposed to target specifically working-class, loud clothing and jewelry-wearing, gum-chewing, street-style women.
