So Beyonce drops a new album and video. The song/video describes a "fictional" women coming between Beyonce and her man (Jay-Z?) So Queen B's fans have begun trying to find this "fictional" woman and give her a piece of their minds. They seem to have decided the women in question is a fashion designer named Rachel Roy, but in their over-zealousness, i.e. stupidity. They have been going after Food celebrity Rachel Ray. They are even threatening to boycott Rachel Ray's taco's. http://www.msn.com/en-us/music/news/wrong-rachel-angry-beyonc%C3%A9-fans-threaten-to-stop-eating-rachael-ray%E2%80%99s-tacos-after-album-drop/ar-BBsdZdx?li=BBnbfcL
This doesn't suprise me on bit. Lol. Not involving yourself with someone that listens to her music should be a rule as important as avoiding reality tv junkies and porn stars.
I don't like Beyonce at all but that woman knows how to jam out pop hit after hit. Her musically reign on the charts is legendary. Now her acting is makes Tyler Perry look like denzel
You're being far too kind. I still get douche chills every time I think about her in that Austin Powers movie. Has she even heard of acting classes damn
Lol at them going after Rachel Ray Her fans are blindly loyal, I'm sure they would literally kill for her if she called the order.
She has talent, but she doesn't use a lot of it. She chooses to cater to a specific market instead. I don't fault her for that,it's just supply and demand dynamics at work.
Surprised BW aren't offended by the good hair comment; Guess it's not offensive when Beyonce says it but let anyone else say Becky's hair = good and all hell breaks loose.
I honestly don't give two shits about either one of these filthy rich individuals. I'm sure everything they do is with purpose, for financial gain. This made me lol tho
Meh. I think it was a stereotype she was using to be funny. I'm listening to the album and just heard that part, I chuckled. There's a common ideology that BW don't have "good" hair, ergo they straighten it. I can't explain it. I'll use an analogy. Let's say for instance... Asians. Hypothetically speaking, my partner cheated on me with an Asian man. In my song I say "She only wants me when I'm away/ She better call Chang Li with the 10.0 GPA" or something to that effect. It depends on how it's said for someone to be offended. In Beyonce's case, she's not saying that Indian women indeed have "good" hair [straight hair being good, with kinky hair being bad] and implying that BW don't. In my case, I'm not saying Asians are smarter than everyone else. It's mocking a stereotype. Satire perhaps. I had read about the "beyhive" attacking the wrong lady earlier... lmao, idiots. I think the more appropriate term for them is "The Dumbhive". My mom said she shouldn't of put that out there in the first place, I agree. But hey... freedom of expression.
You hit the nail on the coffin. I used to be an avid listener to her until her music dramatically changed with her self titled album. It's clear her music is now marketed to the youth who like trashy music and over-sexualized themes. Those are the ones supporting her now. Gotta get with the times or get in retirement! I must say I like "Lemonade" much more than her last album. The only thing that makes me cringe is when she curses... she reminds of the black suit spiderman now. It just doesn't fit, it kills everything to me. Best songs on there are "Daddy Lessons" "Sandcastles" "Forward" "Freedom" "All Night" and "Pray You Catch Me". That's nearly the whole album, it's worth the listen overall in my opinion.
Yeah, as an actress I hope that she's gotten a lot better since then. But on the other hand I don't really care about Beyonce. Sure she's attractive and talented but maybe the fact that everyone else loves her so much means that she's become overrated to me. Plus, Prince died last week so all of my musical focus has been on that for the past few days.
Ummm... I'm a dude. I think that your post is a cyse becuase, I'd much rather listen to Beyonce's music than watch a Tyler Perry movie.
Her music is female oriented so of course a lot of us aren't going to be that into it. I think she's multi-talented as a performer but everything else she does brings us to reality that she's only human.
She was in the film Obsessed with Idris Elba and Ali Larter I didn't See that film. The last films I saw with that plot was Fatal Attraction and A Thin Line Between Love And Hate.
