Thanks for the clarification. I didn't follow reggae music in the 80's. I remember seeing the videos of Eddie Grant and Jimmy Cliff back then. Bob Marley and his son Doggy came around but that was as far as I got with reggae music. A guy who I knew released a CD of reggae music. It wasn't bad. He used to drive as a paratransit driver
I guess he recorded again. I don't know.

If I could ever go to a concert, I would love to see Andrei Rieu. I hadn't seen him in years. I love his passion for music and that he enjoys passing the passion to his orchestra and then, together, they pass it on to the audience.

I would also love to see Liberace. He was a man who truly loved his audience.

Those are the two concerts I'd love to see live.

    Bob Marley's son, " Doggy,"????
Besides, Bob was famous decades before any of his sons started making music. Your missing out man. He, and Steel Pulse and Black Uhuru really had some messages and inspirational music. That, and true roots reggae is really inspirational

Ziggy. My phone drives me crazy at times. Another singer was Johnnie Nash. He sang the song I Can See Clearly Now. I had heard that song when I was just a kid under the age of ten. Nash was an American from Texas. He had song hit songs in America. But when he moved to Jamaica, he took it all in and the song came out of him and it became one of the most iconic songs he ever recorded.

Agree. That's the Reggae l love. Ziggy doesn't even compare to his dad's music.

I loved as Gor mentioned, Jimmy Cliff. Dennis Brown, all the deep roots old school reggae.

Mexican (Tejano) singer Selena and Freddie Mercury from Queen.

Selena was murdered by her manager who was stealing from her.
    Freddie died of AIDS.

I did see her in Berlin back then, and YES it was the bomb.
It was one of my first concerts as a teenager.
