That's what l noted as well. UP to 20 years. It's merely stipulating federal sentencing guidelines for racketeering. The thread header is misleading by implying they got 20. I read last week that sentencing was due on the 8th. Plus they will likely do any time in a minimum security prison.

right right. Besides, the rngleader who bilked half a million dollars into her pockets...would have gotten the most time, but she died during the trials...Like it was stated earlier....they'll be out in a few if they behave. Some might get probation.

This was actually tried under Georgia's RICO statute and not the Federal RICO statute but you're right as far as what they'd likely get. The fact that Beverly Hall died a few days ago makes it even more likely that the teachers would get a slap on the wrist, since she was the one that they were after. Plus Georgia's broke; there's no way in hell we'd pay to house anyone any longer than we'd have to given the costs involved.

Whenever I read stuff like this I have to check the website to make sure that it isn't one of those cheap parody sites. Nope, this is the real deal, and it is sad. I wonder how limited their role had to be to get so few years? Insanity at it's absolute finest. we talked about this in class along with teachers in the classroom.

1. it was wrong for what they did. the punishment should have been the most suspension.

2. highstakes testing....enuff said.

Idk. I went to school with guys that were committing felonies at a younger age than that, I'm sure they wouldn't have told. Maybe some of these teachers just pick the wrong dudes. Not condoning any of it, just saying.

As for the person who negged me (shooting the messenger much?). I don't consider it pedophillia; Pedophiles are attracted to children (typically younger than 14), 16 year olds get charged as adults in a lot of cases. Not saying 16 year olds are adults (cause the aren't) but they aren't children either. He made the decision of messing with this woman, it was consensual. From what I can tell, the teacher is the true victim; being used like a piggybank with a pussy attached for some young horn dog.

 

How is she a victim? Have sex with an underage choir boy and get burned. Bad decisions equal bad results. Simple as that.

 

Being that Asian women are nortoriously known for their wild jungle fever for white boys, I don't give a fuck and she deserves everything she got coming her way.

 

Neither of them are true victims, but she's more of a victim in this case. This wasn't just some one time thing, he had plenty of opportunities to say no and get her in trouble but he waited till he got his fill. Videogames, money, sex, free transportation all of the things every young boy dreams of. This kid bit the hook and cried cause he got caught.
