Perhaps but that's not why I made the comment. This is specific to GL.

I bet alot of women think that way too...you get your own place...decorate it...make it home...he can come over but not move in...

Possibly. Never seen it the other way. Most women I've encountered want to nest.

I know more and more women who are feeling this way as they get older.

I'm starting to understand that line of thinking.

I totally understand your points. It's good that you know these things about yourself including the desire to remain single without children. My ideal situation is being in a committed relationship, but living alone. I'm open to living together, but it's a conversation that I'm unlikely to initiate. In the past like when I met my ex-wife.... While we were dating and getting more and more serious she bought up the idea of living together. Since we were quite serious it made sense to me.

Hince the importance of the man cave.

Yes, a man cave is important, but it definitely doesn't compare to living alone.

Agreed, but I think some of the reasoning is the same. I think a lot of man caves are ineffective unless they are detached from the house, perhaps in the backyard.

I have a friend who wanted to buy a duplex and she was going to live on one side and her husband was going to live on the other. They both enjoyed being together but were very different in the ways they lived.

Hmm. I wonder how that worked. Not a bad idea but it's more effective when she has to put on clothes walk past the dog, and grab a flashlight to avoid the possibility of stepping in a freshly dumped lump of shit. :smt042

    Buffet vs Main.

Buffet tastes better for a certain time frame.
