I did not watch the Super Bowl this year because I had a gut instinct that something embarrassing or humiliating would come out of it. Looks like my predictions were right. So far what I have noticed is some questionable commercials during the game, Cam Newton didn't play too well as a quarterback (Carolina lost 24 to 10 to the Broncos), and some people really got irritated with Beyonce during her half-time music video performance.

Giuliani is almost as big of a political clown as Trump.

*eye roll* Lawdhamercy, I'm quaking in my boots at "the strong theme of black empowerment." God forbid, that black folks should feel empowered and proud to be black.

I can't stand Giuliani. When he was still Mayor... He once said that the police's actions should never be questioned/second guessed. I guess that means they're always right.

That's how I feel as well, I thought it was an awesome performance - why are people upset that an artist expressed herself? I saw a meme that said "she could have paid tribute to armed forces, or law enforcement, or fill in the blank" - I feel like every football game pays tribute to those groups at some point in the game.

People should get mad that the arm forces have to pay the NFL to do those tributes to the servicemen and women. Where's the outrage?

They'll find a way to still make comparisons to the kkk.

"Boycott Beyoncé" page creator was actually a fellow black guy! A brother, one of us.

Also, a few officers have died recently from gun violence a few days after the super bowl. If you've kept up with the media, they were in Maryland, Georgia, North Dakota and Mississippi (Mississippi officer, black guy, shot in the head, critical condition). Not implying that their motivation for the violence was caused by Beyonce's videos and performance.
