She has an interesting point of view. I don't agree with what she says, but I totally agree with her statement that divorce teaches you a lot about marriage.
Same. Many of her insights sound a little dumb IMO. It sounds like she got divorced mainly because of immaturity. When she concurred with her mother that a wife should love her husband more than her kids, that was clearly stated wrong. Your spouse and your child both need to be priorities in your life to have a successful marriage, I think. It's about balance, not which is more important. Besides I think most parents would say at the end of the day, the child's needs are #1, at least when they're young.
