If you need to mock religious faith and believers to strengthen your own point of view, you really need to question the value of your own non-belief system.
Cosign the cosign. If you don't believe, that's fine, but don't act like your opinion or "lack of faith" is the correct and only answer.
I agree. We should not essentially believe in not believing. That's deifying atheism itself, which is the exact opposite of what scientific atheism should mean. Strive instead for the absence of belief of any kind and seek knowledge. That being said, I do laugh at the cartoons sending up fundamentalist belief, because of its obvious contradictions, not the mocking of belief itself.
