Hey...don't knock those Toyotas. I drive one now and while they aren't flashy, they are reliable as hell and they run forever. If I hit the lotto I'm not buying a Lexus or a Bentley, I'm buying an Avalon lol.

Yep. My sister had a Camry for 10 years and gave it to her son when she bought a new one and he drove it for awhile before trading it in for a truck. I'll take a Honda or an Accord any day.

Lol not fully knocking them! They are crazy long lasting! I really like a few toyotas, I'm not a huge fan of the Corolla but it's def a reliable car (my brother in law has had one for like 14 years and I swear it's got another 20 left in it!). And Honda accords can be super nice!! I almost bought one a few years ago!

If I won the lottery(100 million or greater), I would help my family and friends. Buy land and build a home. Go back to school and study music. Compose original music make an album and the proceeds will go to various charities like the Humane Society, Veterans charities, Covenant House(shelter for runaway teens), diseases(Cancer, AIDS, etc), homeless. I would learn how to fly and travel the world. I would even join the United Nations and fly for them delivering supplies and people on a voluntary basis. Continue to write books. Maybe open a club(a live music/ dj club with a large swimming pool), a 24 hour book store(it will make more money than Barnes and Noble. I would even open a cinema where two films instead of one film plays. Perhaps a resort for interracial couples and families. And I will live quietly and calmly letting no drama bring me down. That's some of the things I would do if I won.

I would be happy winning a few hundred! Lol

If I won, other than a new pair of Docs, a new Donnay racquet and an upgraded Mac Mini, I don't really need much. I'd likely buy a small two-bedroom in Aventura or Cape Coral near a tennis court so I could focus on my son's game.

I just pray the winners do the right thing. Help transform some lives for the better. Indulge but also remember you're not the only one living on this planet.

Exactly. So many could be helped with that money but most times greed takes over.

It literally boggles my mind. Seriously how much do you really need? Is your self esteem so low the only way you feel good is with expensive shit while your neighbors go hungry and live in poverty.
Most days I don't think I come from this planet.

I was just talking about this with mi amor. We can't take any of this with us, why the heck not spread it around and take care of those in need? I'll never understand the greedy, selfish nature of some. Imo nothing feels better than giving and helping.

Agreed but unfortunately that's not how you amass wealth.
Like I don't get the Gates Foundation thing where all these rich people are gonna give away half their wealth when they die. Why not do that right now? Why wait. 1% of that money could wipe out world hunger.

Agreed. There's so much greed, and then there's those who simply buy extravagant things just because they have the money, and before you know it... They're no longer wealthy. While I'd enjoy having money, I'd definitely look to donate to worthy causes.

The right thing is whatever they choose to do with the money, they don't owe nor are they obligated to do shit for anyone.

I like yours and RaiderLL's thinking on this subject. While they may not 'owe' anyone, it would be terribly short-sighted to do nothing with your winnings besides consuming. With that kind of money, you could open several businesses, put people to work, and do it all sustainably.
