Friends with women that are racist towards black men

I don't usually do this but I was just curious. I have seen on social media a few times where girls of many races(especially middle eastern for some reason) have bashed and put down black men or have some type of issue with black men, and they either have black male friends and/or they are friends with females that date black men. And nothing gets said and if someone calls them out on social media their friends will defend them.

Does anybody here know of these type of people or have had such experiences?

I was just curious is this just a sign of the racial ignorance in this society or something else.

    Please share.

I knew a couple of women who were not racist toward black men, but definitely mentioned that they didn't want to date or marry black men for various reasons. The most common was that they were raised to believe that black people and everyone else should be remain with their own race. Or the family element is the influential factor. They weren't saying anything violent or even cruel. But they were at the time honest about their feelings on this issue. Of course, they understand that the heart wants what the heart wants. They have to maintain their own lives and seek out that man for them.

It may also be because the amount of women are single and aren't in a relationship with anyone is increasing all over the place. As a result, they end up being resentful and wanting to complain when they see black guys in interracial relationships. Especially considering what is going on now. When they see it, they naturally want to complain because there isn't a guy that they are in a relationship with. Or they were with a black guy before and broke up. I bet in some parts of the country 60% of the population is probably single!

Here is a post that I received recently on my own feed:

I guarantee you, if you call these people out on their hate, they will use those same black friends as an excuse for why they aren't racist.

They think because they have blacks in their social circle that it makes them immune to being seen as a prejudice.

Middle easterners are just brown skinned white supremacists.

I couldn't possibly be friends with women who are racist towards black men.

Intuitively I suspect it demonstrates the irrelevance of facebook.

While I'd never tolerate racism, I have felt censored on fb generally and never really participate meaningfully. I express myself and get inspired elsewhere. I sense other opinions that matter do too.

Not trolling here but this is a legitimate loss for WWBM guys. Very bizarre.

Strom Thurmond, the white supremacist from South Carolina was actually the same way. Racist against black people but has a relationship with a black woman.

    Heres a question....

Would the guys be friends with people that hate white people?

Here's more information clarifying about it. They don't correctly understand black people.

Here is an image in opposition to that, involving both black and white people.

What my friends hate has nothing to do with me.

I try to bring people together, but if they won't go for it, I just leave them be. I don't cut them off, I just limit the relationship to a very superficial level.

That's what I would do with family.

I couldn't put up with any kind of racism, especially if I have a white girlfriend I'm like "get away from me".

I like surrounding myself with smart, caring, sensible people.

Friends? No. I'm a believer in you can choose your friends. Family is family, but the relationship doesn't have to be a deep one if they take issue with race. I would NEVER bring my friends or girlfriend around those family members I unfortunately have in my family no matter what race my friends or girlfriend is. If they aren't racist, I'm not going to expose them on purpose to my family members I know that are. I will give them a heads up if they run into them as well.

I imagine we all know someone who is racist. I personally have no time for a racist person in my circle. I have a cousin who is militant and racist as the day is long. I've told him that anyone can be racist, and he fits the bill.

Then there's my g/f brother. He's leaning more and more to the political right, but many of his statements definitely cross over into racism. It's to the point that I've unfollowed him on FB because I don't want to see his stereotypical, and racists posts I've told her that as a liberal (she's liberal too), I have no problem with the idea that someone chooses to be conservative, but I do feel he is racist.
