A smile and "hi" can go a long way.

It also helps feed the need to connect with others. Nothing online will ever do that. I think we are just beginning to see some of the issues with living online.

I think he's so frustrated he hasn't taken the time to even really find out what he wants. Sometimes you spend so much time trying to be the kind of guy who attracts a lot of women you don't spend nearly enough time asking what kind of woman you want. We imagine ourselves to be in a position of lack so we don't think we can choose we just take what comes into our lives.

This and what kind of relationship he wants.

A doubled minded man accomplishes nothing.

If you can't be honest with yourself then you are surely lying to others

    Agreed.
Met a woman last weekend, she was so pretty but it was her energy that really got me. She smiled and I felt so drawn to her, it was something I forgot since the vast majority of my dating happened online. We ended up playing hearts and flirting all night and when I had to leave I asked for her number, totally had butterflies which I never get anymore, and it felt cool to interact like that instead of the online shopping that's online dating.

Very true. I'm 50 years old and I see that shit all the time with younger cats; rewarding shitty behavior with their time.

See? I think that's great! Vs the online thing where you can THINK someone is great and then you meet and the energy is so off.

I think many think we can sortof bypass all the awkwardness and uncomfortable stuff by connecting online and all that....but it's just a different awkwardness and uncomfortableness and it misses a lot of the steps.

Exactly, there's power in realizing that you're interesting and worthwhile. This game has us so messed up we can't see our value. You know how I know men have value? I never hear men say I'd rather hangout with women instead of men but how often do you hear women say they don't like girls they'd rather hang out with guys. I'm not trying to bash women but something that isn't celebrated enough which is why some men come off frustrated is because they don't feel they have value. Truth is you do and even if others don't see it doesn't make it any less true. If an idiot sells a Picaso for 20 dollars its still a damn Picaso.

That's because men talk about more interesting things. Current events, politics, sports, etc. Many times women talk about relationships or domestic stuff, which is cool, too, but rarely do we discuss the other things.

You're not surrounding yourself with the right women if you often feel you have no value as a man.

I really need a disclaimer lol
I wasn't talking about me but men in general. We don't value men in fact our society spends a lot of time shaming the fuck out of men for just being born with a penis alpha top 1 % excluded of course.

I used to not be big on hanging out with women more because of the petty catty shit. As we've gotten older, I have found that more and more women have dropped a lot of the pretense and it's easier to have conversations of substance and not so much bullshit.

On the bolded part - soooooo true! Life is way too short to be around people who are tearing each other down.

Ok admittedly, I'm battling a cold and my head is foggy.....but could you please elaborate on this?

that's cause you waste of time talking dumb shit instead of getting into some real game to defend yourself.

The way we depict men as stupid and incapable until a woman comes into our lives. Any aggression at all is bullying now men are born rapist who have to be taught not to rape. Stuff like that
