This game functions the same way as the regularl This or That game.
Only that it's strictly about originals versus remakes of songs, movies or shows.

The person above you posted an original song, movie or show and then a remake option of that exact same movie, show or song.
You choose which of the 2 you prefer, and then leave an original and a remake option of a show, song or movie for the next person.

    So,to start :

Original: Alice Deejay - Better off alone

Remake: David Guetta, Neyo and Akon - Play hard

    (same beats,just different lyrics)

Daft Punk is pure class, I'd go with them every time, when I first heard Kanye's rip off I was incensed. :D

I didn't read the the instructions properly, I thought we were meant to guess the remake/ original, sorry

    Anyway back to the game.

I choose The Hills have eyes 2006

    Original Hairspray 1988

The original Hairspray. In pretty much every case, when in doubt I always go with the original.

    I Feel For You

Prince (1979) or Chaka Khan (1984)?

I'd post both vids here but Youtube does not have a video of Prince's version.

    The Chaka Khan version

    Original: O-Zone "Dragosta din tei"

Remake: Rihanna & TI "Live your life"

The original which is in Romanian language was a huge hit in Europe, but since I am not sure whether it was popular in the US,I ll post both Youtube links.

I didn't even know that T.I. sampled that. I guess now I finally know where it came from! Still I have to go with T.I. because even though it's the newer song it's the one that I heard first which kind of makes it the "original" to my ears.

The Joker (Jack Nicholson) or The Joker (Heath Ledger)?

I will go with the original, but the remake wasn't bad as far as remakes goes. I think the same thing about the following set but what do you think of:

Original: Assault on Precinct 13 (1976)

Remake: Assault on Precinct 13 (2005)

Superman: Christopher Reeve. The one and only. Not to discount Kirk Allyn and George Reeves. They did a good job as Superman, too.

Jodie Foster didn't want to do Hannibal because in the script Clarise Starling had lost the innocence that was shown in The Silence Of The Lambs. Clarise had gone to the dark side in Foster's opinion. So, Julianne Moore took over and created a more mature and aggressive version of Starling.

Here's one; The Green Hornet-Warren Hull, Van Williams or Seth Rogen?

I had seen both films and I would say that in terms of a basic plot and action sequences, they are about tied. John Carpenter's version was an homage to Howard Hawks' Rio Bravo with John Wayne, Dean Martin, Ricky Nelson and Walter Brennan. The action sequences were intense. Austin Stoker, a white woman and a white man survive the assault.

The new version was the same plot but with edgier characters and a lot of action sequences.
