Sticky Threads

    I've felt guilty about neglecting this fine forum for so long, so thought I'd help out by lending a hand to a bit of housekeeping!

    I've been looking at Sticky threads - existing threads, and threads which might warrant Sticky status.

    Threads may be made into a Sticky for a few reasons
    - It's posted in regularly, being Sticky makes it easy to locate
    - We may want to draw attention of new members to read or post in a certain thread

    The Attraction Between White Women and Black Men
    Current Sticky:*Respect where it's due - Seems to me like an important thread to keep as a Sticky for new members, even though it's not frequently posted in
    Current Sticky:*Dating or just kicking it? - This was obviously made Sticky at some point, but I don't this it's Sticky-worthy any longer - I move that it's un-sticky'd

    (Non-sticky related: White women feet - move to Men's Locker Room?)

    Conversations Between White Women and Black Men
    Current Sticky: When you joined this forum - what was your story? - Still relevant.

    Please weigh in on your thoughts about these threads being made Sticky, and make any other suggestions. (Keeping in mind it's counter-productive to have too many Sticky threads)

    NOTE: I left the Men's Locker Room alone as it's not my domain and I know there are many frequented threads. Maybe some men would like to give their opinions on that...

    I say make the "What Are You Listening To Right Now" a Sticky thread & move it into the In The Media Section since it's a music related thread more than a conversation thread.

    All great suggestions except for the White Women Feet. If it's moved to the Men's Locker Room, it will turn into another porn thread which will ruin it IMO. One of the reasons I quit posting my own pics in there is because a couple of people kept littering it with porn. The White Women Feet Uncensored fits the Men's Room, but if the White Women Feet thread is moved (although I think it's fine where it is), I think it would fit better in the "Lovers Only..." forum.

    Sometimes people don't think about where they're placing new threads (especially those containing nudity/porn & personal info/pics), so I try to keep an eye out and have asked Webbie to move quite a few threads to more appropriate forums. I've also had him move some of my own threads over the years for various reasons.

    Yeah, fair enough, women do post in White Women Feet. I haven't been in there in a while, but I remembered it having porn/naked pics as well as feet... which was the reason I thought it should be moved. But maybe I'm confused.

    Webbie has always removed the inappropriate posts from that particular thread. The men do have an "uncensored" version in their locker room, but the original one fits the "Attraction" forum as far as the topic itself goes. Moving it to Lovers Only 1 would make it a good place for it since it basically turned into a picture thread & it's not a forum where porn or nudity is allowed.

    Nerds Lounge and Any Good Movies? are two of my personal favorites. What's Going On With You is always good to have readily at hand, both to let people know what's going on as well as to check on members quickly. I would also suggest are The Official "Post Your Pic" Thread.......9.0. Thanks for getting a sampling of forum members on this one, whikle!
