Like I said any black man in America that celebrates Black Love is a joke and a sucker. Because the opposite of this you have them celebrating black women dating and marrying out like Meghan Markle with the immature and bossy excuse of black men did it first. They are trying to impose fear on this man Michael B. Jordan by continuously keeping this up and attacking him and his girlfriend.

Here's an article BET.com put out today: https://www.bet.com/celebrities/news/2018/05/16/donald-glover-opinion.html

ATL Black Star article (In the IG interview video clip in this article, they actually put him on the spot): http://atlantablackstar.com/2018/05...aims-cant-woke-loving-someone-different-race/

    The Root.com articles/video:

These are just some of them. You should read the stuff in comment sections, facebook discussions, forums, & etc.

Video from popular YouTuber darkskin activist Chrissie:

I knew it was only a matter of time before people got on him because his main love interest/Baby mama on "Atlanta" (Actress Zazie Beetz) is biracial IRL & on the show.

Can't believe there's such a thing as a dark skin activist.

Maybe you worded that wrong because his real life wife isn't biracial (unless she is Eurasian or something along those lines)

So last week I was at the dentist for a biannual checkup. The black female assistant working on me is one who has checked out my teeth for years. We have a good rapport, she is a good person, we always have fun conversations about movies and TV. She's very intelligent. Anyway, somewhat out of the blue, she brought up Donald Glover's name (perhaps we were talking about "Atlanta") and asked me if I thought he was legitimately down with the cause of black people considering he has a non-black wife. For a moment I was floored. This wasn't they type of stuff we ever discussed before and I was also surprised she brought it up considering the office itself with mostly white patients and about a half white staff, including the dentist himself. Of course all of those other folks were spread out in different rooms, but still this didn't seem like the spot to have such a discussion. I defended Glover and said yes a person can care about his/her race and yet still find love outside of it. Not sure if she agreed with my take but she didn't object to anything I said nor did she display any facial disappointment. We moved on to another topic. Still that brief detour reminded me how wrapped up in this bullshit the black community is, including people whom you would have never thought would give a damn about a person's personal life. The dental assistant told me that she had been having this discussion with the new receptionist. I didn't know the new receptionist was even black until the assistant told me because when I arrived she never even looked up from the desk to greet me and confirm why I was there. And I didn't get a good enough look at her because her head was mostly covered by a counter. But the brief glimpse I got of her complexion and hair texture made me assume she was not black. She is most definitely mixed and is probably should be the last person to comment on this affair considering she is likely the byproduct of "mixing". With the lack of professionalism she demonstrated towards me and other patients as well as her youth, she was probably the one to plant the seed into the assistant's head; she probably has a Lipstick Alley mindset.

By the way I do come across some pushback against the Root on twitter like with this guy:

And here's another rebuttal tweet from a guy with a much bigger following. Don't care for this dude too much. A little too militant for my taste but is so sensitive that when someone like myself politely disagrees with his take he will block that individual (a common weak characteristic among many of the members of Woke Twitter in my opinion). I don't think this guy probably approves of Glover having a white wife, he is more upset with the hypocrisy and double standards exhibited by The Root and some of its contributors like the asshats from Very Smart Brothas.

Actually I mistyped it. I meant colorism activist.

No one takes the colorism activists seriously except other women (& their simps) who whine about colorism all the time.

Naw, I phrased it correctly. Notice I specifically said "his main love interest/Baby mama on "Atlanta"" & even put the actress' name in parentheses after that so you know who I'm talking about.

I'm guessing you don't watch "Atlanta" since you missed that. Actress Zazie Beetz's (The same actress that's playing Domino in the new "Deadpool 2" movie) character on "Atlanta" named Van, is the Baby Mama & main love interest for Donald Glover's chracter, Earn. Zazie Beetz is biracial & her chracter on "Atlanta", Van is also biracial. So the colorism crybabies been complaining about that for the last week & a half.

This 1 of Donald Glover & Zazie Beetz's scenes together from the current season that just ended last week:

Okay I had to look at the sentence again. You are saying the character is biracial on the show and the actress who plays her is biracial in real life. I thought you had written that both his baby mama on the show and his real life baby mama were biracial.

Anyway I watch the show so I know about the actress and her character. She is one of the billion biracial actress getting parts in films and TV. Funny how biracial men don't exist in Hollywood but their female counterparts do.

Gat Damn shame. This is what I mean. Black Media, White Media. Both of them aren't for us. We are the only ones next native americans who freedom is not accepted. How can it be when you want to judge us all the time when we don't do what you want us to do. It is this Slavemaster mindset that unfortunately black people, Black Media and especially some of these black women out here have when it comes to straight black men. Everybody wants to control us, want us as property. The good thing is that it is just waking more and more brothas up. And Donald Glover already done shoutout his girlfriend when accepting his Emmy so we already know he ain't with the bullshit.

Lol. Yeah Tariq Nasheed is out there! He spits a lot of truth though, but I believe he is just misguided. I believe his wife is biracial with a white mother. But he once again is spot on with the hypocrisy regarding "the root" issue with Donald Glover dating outside his race when they praise black women for doing it WHILE slamming black men. But it is a white owned publication.

Hopefully this will start waking Tariq up a little more and direct him in the right direction.

Your boy Jesse Williams was their Messiah until he got divorced and started dating that gorgeous Minka Kelly. Interesting how that date someone like your mother argument went out the window

I truly interested in knowing if anyone on here has had a problem with with bw and wm dating. Even in the rare instance that a black girl I was interested in only dated white guys it never phased me.

The Root went from being a place to read well researched, well thought out news, views and history from a black perspective to a font of petty gossip disguised as black intellectualism. Anytime you start writing about who is sleeping with who, you're gossipping. Period.

The Root is nothing more than Mediatakeout for the faux woke crowd.

Come on it was the BET awards and lets be fair what other group of women have been mistreated as much as them and endured it all. Besides one shouldn't have to do with the other. A lot of our greatest activists are either biracial or had a white spouse

I know, but do you think BW would have teared him down like that, if he hadn't held them up so much to begin with?
