Anyone notice the war between the Jews and the Roman descendants. Jewish power and Roman power have been working together for centuries until Asia became the new ruling power. The Jews jumped ship and moved their power and resources to Asia and so now the Roman descendants are furious. If you follow global politics you can see it, but you can also see it manifest through popular culture. The propaganda machine never sleeps. Movies and series are the main mediums of propaganda, there is always a Jewish looking character betraying a Roman looking character and retaliation by the Romans.
Not entirely sure, its very hard to find. They were a mixture of different peoples in the area. But I would think the Italians are part of them, the Hungarians and maybe those neighboring nations possibly the Romanians, Serbians etc. But it will obviously be centered around particular bloodlines, like a clan or something.
The Jewish people are usually depicted with dark brown to grayish hair. And the Romans usually have Jet black hair but also become grayish. The Jewish people in movies generally have a mystic power or power over people and the Roman power is usually in control of a great deal of resources. Jews are wizards and Romans are political masters. Until recently they have always been allies but in recent movies like Dawn of Justice and Ben Hur, they are now enemies.
