When I first moved into Fort Lauderdale, I decided to orientate myself with the area by reading the local yellow pages and the newspaper. I came upon the personals section and read the ads for women seeking men. Most of the ads said "SWF , model type,seeking gentlemen for a relationship." The gentlemen these single white females were seeking were not gentlemen with a kind and respectful manner, but a retired, rich or wealthy older men who are interested in a financially mutual relationship, or marriage if things are going great.
