The taco bowl events were Trump's attempts at Latino outreach, so referring to a DNC 'taco bell' opposition strategy doesn't seem anti-Hispanic to me, against a candidate who claims the majority of illegal Latino immigrants are low life criminals.

I don't know what the Laqueenia email is about. The email said it was a name, possibly of a DNC staffer??

I think I'd would admit if I read something from the DNC emails that was unethical or unfair, but IMO there wasn't really that much controversial in them, other than the possible strategy of attacking Bernie over his religion.

Most black Democrats are under no delusions. That's another falsehood promoted by the right. Blacks know the Democrats are racist, too. But, we also realize that it's in our best intrest to back the party you have the most pull with.

At least, the Democratic Party will acknowledge there is a problem, try to adress the issue and move boulder of progress and racial equality forward.

The Republicans would rather tell you it's all in your head, or if there is a problem, it's your fault regardless of the context of a situation or the realties of the culture we live in.

Black people aren't the fools that con-servatives think we are. Republicans can't just piss in our ears and tell us it's raining. They have to show and prove if they want our support.

"Mexican immigrant" is racist when Trump said it discussing Mexicans.
But "Tacobowls" is not when the Dem says it when discussing Mexicans.

 

Trump was called a racist because of his generalizing that most illegal Mexican immigrants were degenerate, lowlife criminals and rapists.

It was the context in which he described Mexican immigrants, not the phrasing.

Yall have to do better if you expect the progressives in the DNC to implode over 'tacobowls' used in an email.lol

'Tacobowls' wasn't used to describe Mexicans in that email, it was a buzzword to describe Trump's attempt to reach out to Latino voters.

How is it racist? He was referring only to the illegal criminals who had increasingly committed violent crime, and the Mexican Govt's attempt to purge them, as well as former prisoners, near the border.

It's not the 1980s when Castro emptied Cuba's prisons and allowed hardened convicts to leave the country for Florida.

There's no evidence at all the Mexican government is deliberately sending former criminals across the border to the U.S.

The rate of any crime committed by illegals is so small anyway, because they are the last people who want any interaction with law enforcement.

And Trump is the one who could shoot someone on 5th Avenue and his base wouldn't care.

except that they have all committed at least 1 federal crime. Come on down to Houston and tell Rodney Johnsons wife about how the little crime they do and how it doesn't matter. When the illegal shot him in the back of the head I guess that meant nothing. What about the couple of illegals who raped the young lady a couple months ago that made national news because it was right after trump made those statements. These are people who shouldn't have been here in the first place. Plenty of them running around in Houston with no insurance plowing into cars and then running. But hey long as the dems can get another vote and the republicans can get cheap labor it's all good. Oh and btw before you fight all hard for them just think if black people were the largest number of illegals they would bounce your mayate ass out of here as quick as they can. A large number of them most definitely don't like black people.

Funny enough most Hispanics who actually vote are more right leaning because of the religious aspect.

That's assuming that most legal immigrants or naturalized hispanics include that in their voting decisions. Isn't that a little racist?

Why are you feigning ignorance here? If a party works to give you the things you crept into the country for, or deliberately ignored your guest visa expiration for..and pretends the other party is mean because it wants to vett its immigrants and make applicants take a number...who would you vote for?

 

Well firstly to address that tired black people voted for Obama because he was black nonsense was just that nonsense. Black people in this country typically vote democrat and usually do it at a rate of 89 percent. Obama got 96 percent of the black vote in 08. Probably more to do with the fact that the Republicans ruined the country sparking more voter turn out and the fact he was the first social media candidate using the power of social media to get more people out to vote.

Secondly you have to prove that Hispanics who get here are actually concerned with bringing family here in order to justify that response. Not to mention illegal immigration is greatly down since the crash. Also all Hispanics aren't Mexicans, they aren't a homonegous group that think like a beehive. They have varied interests and think the unifying thing that probably gets more of them to vote is that so many of them are poor and vote on working class issues that often gets conflated with race issues.
Maybe the reason the Democrats get their vote is because they are asked what they want instead of it being assumed.
