Only a matter of time before all these jack-leg preachers are exposed.

the black preachers are just up there catering to black women. the BP are just up there screaming and hollering like some crazed fool. that is why i went to judiasm.

they teach they dont scream at you like you cant hear em.

they teach dont preach. the jews will do the serman and ask are there any questions and comments of what they stated.

you will never ever hear that in a christian church. it is a commie thang. if the preacher said it then its fact. no questions asked

its a dumb question, they are single because they choose to be. they choose to think that they are not mates for black men, to be equal helpers, they choose to they that they "ARE" men and dont need black men for anything. except somehow they always get pregnant out of wedlock by a black man and then have society pay for it

Which is why I don't consider them any more single than the men they are sleeping with.

I'm not a Christian, but frankly, I don't think telling BW that the only man they need is their god is what's holding them back. They took a small clip of a preacher getting overly excited, replayed it over and over, and said, "Oh look, this guy is nuts."

Fellas, I hate to tell you, but if you're not dating BW because they've expressed that they will continue their lives with or without you, you're dating WW for the wrong reason. I fall into the category of there isn't a man I've met yet that I can't live without.

This is a positive message, especially for young women who think that male sexual attention is the end all be all. Why is that so disturbing? Men should realize there are more important things than sex. Bettering yourself and your community comes before romantic endeavors.

That doesn't mean I don't love men. That doesn't mean I don't want to be in a relationship. The impression some of the guys in the thread are giving is that you need a woman to fawn all over you. Also, goodlove, if you treat women like prostitutes, you're going to be a lonely old man.

also it would be nice if the dr. rev. deacon feel good was saying what you were saying but he is not.

the pastors are usually putting down bm. I remember a pastor saying the following:

    - black women are the queens and should be treated as such. they are important to the family . ( FINE AND GOOD. ESPECIALLY IN AN UTOPIA WORLD)

then he goes on to say.... black men the black woman will get you straight and clean you up.

now here is what he is saying. that all black women got their act together which is false and all black men are idiots. which is false again.

todays society plays men as the following

    - we do all or most of the cheating. which is false. i talked to several lawyers and counselors and cheating is 50/50

    - men are stupid. definitely false. some of you do nt see the need of a budget. no need to go there enough said.

no need to go on other issues to prove that women are not all together especially BW

I get it. Just because I disagree with something doesn't mean I don't understand.

    You're evil. :smt058 I LOVE IT!

Did you ever think perhaps in your sensitivity you're not willing to look at the message as a whole?

Absolutely. As a white woman, I'll admit one of the most marginalized groups is black women. They SHOULD be treated with respect, and that isn't just part of utopia. I come from a culture also where the mother is the primary parent. Women are generally the cornerstone in black and German families. That doesn't mean dads aren't important or they're not due some respect, but I can absolutely tell you my mother did more of the work, not because she was a slave who is supposed to do that, but because she was a leader who let nothing turn her from her duty as such. (There are times I want to strangle her. I'm not romanticizing her at all.)

I believe he's pushing for monogamous relationships. It's not a bad idea in today's society. Do I agree with the sentiment of uniracial relationships exclusively? No. However, a young black man with brains is going to say, "Okay, I respect my preacher, but I don't agree with everything he says." Preachers also don't entirely speak for their flock.

He's not saying that at all. The man went to seminary school. Do you know how hard that is? Obviously he doesn't think all black men are idiots. He's likely a respected black man in his community.

Sisters are going in droves for their education. I'm not touting their superiority, but I'm saying there's a valid point to his message. Can we at least be unbiased enough to give BW their respect where it's due? I'm still going to date BM, but I don't want any BM who doesn't respect BW.

I agree there's a problem with how men are portrayed in media: Fat, stupid, lazy, incapable. You turn on the TV and you see a father taking care of an infant who is panicking because he can't tell the mouth from the anus. This isn't one of the cases.

As long as we continue to look to and blame certain groups for what amount to very personal struggles, bigotry continues
