Are Asians Getting Their N**ga Wake-up Call?

Good! This is certainly not what I'm used to... And I'm not sure attitudes like this are the norm among asians... but it's good to see.

When it comes to "race", again I'm with k.i.s.s.... So when I experienced the pattern and trend of unpalatable attitudes among asians during my youth (desperate white-wannabeeism, hatred toward blacks as a means to achieving "whiteness", etc. -- stuff you're all familiar with), I tuned out... Stopped patronizing asian business, etc. and had few contacts with asians. Just wrote them off.

Of course, I'm always open to updating my outlook and opinion. Times change. Culture is alive, so cultures change... Generations are different over time. So thanks for these pics. Even without them, I know that not all asians carry that ol' grudge against black people.

However I should add: the best values ... the "golden" values... are the ones that serve you well in the best of times and in the worst of times. One of them, for black people, should be to only spend your money where you know some black people can profit, even if only as employees. After all, if you're unemployed or indigent or resorting to illegal activity to make a living, everyone's gonna use that to judge all black people, even the successful ones. ...So the fewer of us that are unemployed or indigent or engaging in illegal activity to make a living, the better.

...You can help achieve that by only spending your dollars where black people can profit, even if only as employees... Maybe it's not always possible, or always practical, but you gotta keep it in mind. Let those dollars circulate a little more among black hands, not because black people are so great, but as upkeep for the community and a hedge against the stereotype that black people don't work... That would serve us well even if blacks and asians were a complete lovefest.

In the meanwhile, it's good to see any sign that the whole rainbow of cultures is evolving in the anti-bully, anti-nazi direction. Kudos. We should all be against police brutality, because this is supposed to be "america", not some third-world shithole where people simply have to take it.

Trump's ascendancy certainly awakened some of those of color who though they could just check the whiteness box by acting in it's interest.

 

Suspended Ohare Cop, James Long, releases his.version of the events...




In the report, Long said he boarded the United Express flight after being called in response to a disturbance involving two people regarding a refusal to leave the aircraft.

United has said four passengers had been ordered off the airplane to make room for four employees to fly to Louisville, Kentucky.

Long said he approached Dr. David Dao to ask the 69-year-old physician to get off the plane.

Long said Dao refused and 'folded his arms tightly.' Long said he reached out to 'hold' Dao and was able to pull him away from his window seat on the aircraft and move toward the aisle.

'But suddenly the subject started flailing and fighting,' Long wrote.



Dao then knocked Long's hand off his arm, causing the struggling Dao to fall and strike his mouth on an arm rest on the other side of the aisle, according to the report. He claims that he then dragged Dao due to the Doctor's refusal to stand up.

Long has said he wrote the report and gave his version of events only because he faced losing his job.

The video taken by a passenger shows lots of screaming coming from behind the seats, then Dao being dragged by his arms down the aisle of the plane as the other passengers react in horror.

In a separate report released Monday, labeled a 'Hospitalization Case Report,' the Chicago Police Department said Dao was observed striking his face against an armrest as aviation officers 'attempted to escort' him from the flight.
