It's scary to hear what stupid people think sometimes.

There was a group of mostly old farts sitting around drinking coffee and talking at my job for several hours the other day, and hearing some of their crazy conversation made my head ache.

Here are a few of the crazy highlights:

"Trump is the hero this country needs. We're lucky we have him to fix what Obama messed up."

"What Trump needs to do with the Mexicans and blacks is what Hitler did to the Jews and gather 'em up and burn 'em up."

"The only reason the FBI didn't lock Hilary up was because they knew Obama would just pardon her before he left office so they could keep having their affair."

"I wonder if Trump will tell everyone the truth about aliens and UFOs being real since he'll be able to see the reports for himself."

"You know the government is hiding aliens they caught over the years from us. They should let us see them."

"Most missing people that are never found were abducted by aliens, and the government is covering it up."

"I know people who were abducted by aliens and came back to talk about it."

"Some of the people the aliens bring back are left to die on the top of Mount Everest."

"I wonder if alien medicine could have kept JFK alive."

"You know JFK didn't die right away. They kept him for a few days under heavy guard in the hospital and slowly killed him themselves. Johnson and Jackie were in on it too."

"I don't think Jackie knew that he was still alive or was in on trying to kill him. I do think she killed Marilyn Monroe though."

"9/11 was a worse conspiracy. They got everybody worked up over all them dead people when the only ones in the building was the ones who wanted to commit suicide anyway. That's why they jumped out like they did."

"What about that 'Sandy Hooker' hoax where they pretended all them kids was shot? Them parents pretending their kids was dead was one of the worst hoaxes of all. Somebody needs to shoot them."

"If any of them really died, the parents and the government killed them."

They were there talking that kind of craziness for 6 hours!!! The only break we got from their crazy talk was when a couple of them were making fun of a customer with cerebral palsy and imitating his walk. I was so happy to see them finally leave.

And this right here is why I don't want to step foot in Texas or most of the South or Midwest. Literal lunacy. How you don't lose your own mind is amazing

LOL. You'd probably love Dallas/San Antonio/Houston. Go to the big cities even in the Midwest and you'll find tens of thousands of progressives and like minded folk.

You're probably right but way too close to crazy for my comfort. Aside from the Nazi shit they believe aliens were guarding JFK? The only thing I'll give on is Jackie O having Mariyln killed that would actually make sense lol

Wow! Sadly, it's not even a shocker any longer. Even more sad/misguided... I bet each of them would consider themselves a god-fearing christian.

They are probably more dumb than crazy. Dumb ignorant people often fill in the blanks with absurd or oversimplified assumptions. The conversation seemed crazy, but they are probably not unless they were actually saying some of those things around black people.

They are probably a bunch of old dummies that can barely work the cable remote.

Not in the ways that matter to me. Most of my foreign business loves coming here just to site see. It's amazing what influences people.

This. You are good in Texas as long as you're in 1 of the big city metro areas (Houston, Dallas, Austin, & San Antonio). For example all of the big city counties went blue during the election.

What's amazing about tourists going to New York? Lol. I should revisit during the summer myself. Glad that I got to see the world trade center back in the day.

I'm saying it influences business decisions. At this point business can be done totally online but there's something about going to a place that people love
