    This.

Nevermind that Luke & Jessica intitially started off as a hook-up type relationship, then each went their own way before eventually getting back together. Jessica & Scott Lang/Ant-Man were together for awhile before she and Luke got back together.

Yeah, I can see them rolling Luke Cage, Jessica Jones & Iron Fist into a Heroes for Hire series playing off and expanding Jessica's detective agency and what it does.

Your argument is bullshit and fuck fanboys.

Do you think the success of any Marvel fan is largely dependent on fanboys or people who aren't fanboys?

    Seriously ponder that question.

I don't know what you're talking about, but you sure seemed worked up about it.

Here is a kitten to help you relax

A Black Widow movie will work. It will have a smaller budget. But, Black Widow already has a built in fan base because of all the MCU films she's been in. People have been asking for it for a long time.

They'll get a competant female director and a female writer. They may cameo RDJ in there just to fill a few extra seats (ala Spiderman: Homecoming). Disney will sprinkle it's PR fairy dust on it and will be Scarjo's highest opening film and possibly her biggest solo flick to date.

I'm guessing it will be a hit in the same way Captain America:The First Avenger and Thor were hits. Not huge. But, big enough to justify making them.

The real problem is Scarlett, herself. Has she ever had a hit film were she was the main character? Was Lucy a hit? Or, did it flatline here but do well overseas?

Remember, were talking about Marvel. The same movie studio that turned Iron Man, one of their C level characters (at least to the general public), staring a former junkie, has been actor, into one of thee most bankable superhero characterrs of all time.

The Black Widow movie will do just fine.

Ava DuVernay Will Direct Jack Kirby's New Gods
    March 16, 2018

Ava DuVernay is stepping into the superhero universe.

The filmmaker has come on board to direct “The New Gods” at Warner Bros. as part of the studio’s DC Extended Universe. “The New Gods,” based on DC Comics’ series of the same name, is aimed at creating a new universe of properties for the studio.

Created and designed by revered comic book impresario Jack Kirby, the comic was first released in 1971.

The “The New Gods” are natives of the twin planets of New Genesis and Apokolips. New Genesis is an idyllic planet ruled by the Highfather, while Apokolips is a dystopia filled with machinery and fire pits — ruled by the tyrant Darkseid.

New Genesis and Apokolips call themselves gods, living outside of normal time and space in a realm known as the Fourth World.

DuVernay tweeted last year that Big Barda, who is one of the New Gods, was her favorite superhero character of all time.

Half a dozen “New Gods” series have been published following the original. The most recent was issued in 2011.

Yeah but that comic is inherently racist. All the people or most on new genesis are blonde haired and blue eyed. The bad people on Apokolipse are dark with dark hair. Gonna be interesting to see how she spins it.

    Mind = Blown!!

    The Black Order looks solid!

But what the fuck is Cap doing fighting Thanos alone. That's a quick L.

If they are playing out the Cap vs Thanos scene similar to how it played out in the original Infinity Gauntlet story, it's because no one else is around to help him take on Thanos. Even though he knows it's a losing battle, Cap isn't turning away from a fight. That's not his nature to do so.

    That's a bit of a stretch.
There are three non-White primary characters in the Fourth World saga that instantly come to mind: The villainous Darkseid, whose exterior is either grey, light purple or ash black (depending on the artist/inker), The Black Racer (the physical manifestation of death) and the heroic Vykin of the Forever People. Who did I overlook?

Valkyra, the mother of Vykin, one of New Genesis' greatest warriors (trained Orion) and Commander Gideon, general of New Genesis' army and one of the ruling council of New Genesis.

I think one thing that gets overlooked is how well done the CGI is in this movie. Cap is interacting with a completely CGI character and you can barely tell.

Lucy was an out and out hit worldwide. Ghost in the Shell tanked in SJW Murca (whitewashing scandal) but did well in Asia who apparently had no problem with a Caucasian woman playing an Asian character. Too lazy to find the links, but check Box Office Mojo if you don't believe me

If Marvel could make a hit out of Ant-Man, they can make a hit out of Widow, who as you pointed out has a built in fan base. It needs to guest star Hawkeye and they can explain what exactly happened in Budapest

lol. If he's smart it will be that Wakanda hookup. Shuri is nice with it!

Well this franchise has made billions of dollars. They better be able to afford the BEST CGI! lol.
