The STRONG black woman is a myth. Let me explain, I am not a STRONG black woman, the women in my family and my friends are NOT STRONG BLACK WOMEN! The STRONG Black woman I am talking about is the mythological, sterotype that has been perpetrated thru-out the years. The black woman that is bossy, domineering, hard, insensitive. I know there are some women like that but the women I know are hard-working in order to survive. I personally prefer to date black men, but if a black man wants to date outside the race it makes no difference to me because that is their personal business. I have a man in my life and he is there because we have common interests not because he is a baller, a shot-caller, ect... I know most black men are not drug-dealers or basketball players or dead beats. Also the black women I grew up around are soft and caring. They don't want to be a men. They are feminine. I have attended an all white schools and I have lived in a white neighborhood. There is good and bad in all races. People are individuals.
But anyway, if a brunette is for you, I wish the best to you and much respect.
Peace

While at school today, I was once again talking to this Italian girl that I am just infactuated with. Something occured to me. It seems that when I talk to white women, I am more at ease. I don't feel as much pressure to sound "cool" or act "smooth." If I use some antiquated expression, it's less likely that a white woman will see me as being corny or uncool it seems. Does anyone else thing so?
Another thing, women tend to come in degrees when it comes to femininity. At one end, is the doormat ,housewife type that is very quite, shy and submissive. Not to stereotype, but many men look for this quality in Asian women. Then there are stronger, more independant, more blunt women on the other extreme, and I'd say black women tend to go more in this direction. But I think white women tend to represent a good balance in between. They seem soft, sensitive and womanly, but also are likely to speak their mind on issues and tell you want they think. A good balance. Just one more reason I need that cute brunette to walk into my life. LOL!
