Good post as usual from you. I am astonished at the 20,000 a year figure. That is simply mind-boggling. I didn't even think there were that many rapes a year from all groups total,yet alone from one alone. As to how many white men rape black women as compared to the other way around, it's something like a 95:5 ratio. It is awful. Perhaps that explains some of the stares BM/WF couples get. Maybe when people stare, they are wondering whether she is going to be the next victim of rape. It's a sorry state we're in this society. There's just no escaping bad news. I wish I could take a pill that would me only like black women. I'd do it in a second. I'm starting to think IR relationships are more trouble than they're worth. The thing is, I'm just so physically attracted white women I can't help it. But it's good to hear you speaking out against black crime and especially rape. What is even more perplexing is that anywhere in the world with a black population, you see the same thing. Since the end of apartheid, sadly, S. Africa has become the rape capitol of the world. One of the reasons AIDS has spread so widely through Africa is because of rape, loose sex, child molestation and prostitution. I think I remember reading that black men naturally have more testosterone than whites or Asians, and perhaps that explains the higher sexual aggressiveness.

My dear, I am sorry that those black guys act like a wolf pack around you. It's one of those things that truly makes me embarassed as a black man. That they would think you are somehow "easy" just because you are with a black man tells you something about their self-image. It's a damned shame that both whites and blacks will look upon a white woman with a black man as some sort of slut. I know what you mean when you said that the guy went,"she's with him???" I remember being at a club last year with a very attractive Latina friend of mine. There were a lot of black guys there. And I guess they thought we were together instead of just friends. They were all oogling with that look like, "damn, I gotz ta get me summa dat!" It's enough to make me sick to be honest. Because I knew just how they were thinking. If she were with a white guy, they wouldn't have been doing that. But since she was hanging with a black guy, I guess it was assumed that she was easy pickings. God, I just hate that so much it's truly depressing. Melirosa, just be careful around those guys and if you feel you are in any danger, take precautions. It's a shame we have to live in such a world where you have to worry about such negativity(from blacks and whites) just because the man you love and that treats you as you deserve has more protein pigments in his skin than you do.

These crimes are committed by those of all races. Preditors and victims ..that whole issue of black/white crime goes way beyound RACE. When you examine the dynamics involved in crimes you begin to realize that there is something else going on entirely. And, I am not about to analyize such a complex subject here. However, focusing only on the race of people involved does not help us see the big picture. What insights are we missing when we focus only on the race of an individual or group? "The devil is in the details".

While I have never heard of this kind of behvior(wolf pack) and probably because I live in a predominantly white neigborhood, I don't hear the rape stats, but if you are right that is scary. It also leaves a bad mark on all the good, decent black men who love their girlfriends, wives and daughters. I will be happy to be called a sell out for bringing crime to the light. Who care what they call you, as long as, you are doing the right thing!

i see where you are coming from and i understand the point that you are trying to make. i was unaware of those stats that you gave and they are not good. you gave the stats on black men raping white women and white men who rape black women. would you happen to know the stats on rape for white men raping white women? i am concerened about one thing that you say about black men looking at a white woman when they see her with a black man. i live in a very mixed neighborhood, black white, hispanic, islands. whenever i am outside in my neighborhood alone, black men will drive by or walk by and they will ALWAYS say something to me, look at me, yell out hey mamita, you know, the usual things men say when they are trying to get your attention in such a manner. (depends on the man) but you know what i mean. let me tell you, when these men see me with my man outside, who is jamaican, they stumble over themselves, they break their neck looking our way, i have even heard one or two of these men saying...what??? that is HIS woman? the next thing i notice is that these men seem to be almost intrigued to talk to me more now that they know i am with a black man. they smile at me, blow kisses to me, you name it. of course NEVER in front of him. help me to understand this because i honestly don't. is it the whole "wolf pack" thing that you are describing or is it curiosity? probably depends on the individual(s)
when i ask my man why they do this, he tells me that they are just jealous. jealous of what? to me that answer is just sorry and weak. in the majority of the cases, do you think that when black men rape white women, it is a hate crime or is it just a dominant, sick act that a man is committing against a woman? same question posed to a white man raping a black woman? i guess we would have to examine each case individually to determine the underlying factor as to why so many of these rapes are occuring. i am sure that hate crimes would make up part of it, as to how much, i wonder? when it comes down to it though, whatever color of the rapist or the victim, rape is definitely a hate crime in the rawest sense.

I dont think thats being a sellout. It just proves that you see no color when it comes to what is right and what is wrong. I had no idea about those kind of figures, do you think most are hate crimes? Either way the man is scum for raping a woman, that kind of mentality is sick enough, but there are probably a few who rape women to get back at the white man for raping their sisters during slavery...those are comments that I have heard, but Ive always had in it in my head that white men were the gulitier party when it comes to serial murders and rape. I'm against people being victimized by the "street trash" criminals (no matter what color)period. But one thing I see from many black males lately is the unprecedented number of them committing rapes against white women. It's known that black women have been victims of these "scum bags" for years without a mention to their defense. According to a recent justice department report on interracial crimes, black men commit an average of 20,000 rapes a year against white women compared to far lower numbers committed by white men against black women. We are only 13 percent of the population. Are these HATE CRIMES? Many black men who are married to white women, dating them, or have step daughters of white women from previous marriages are concern for their women's safety. This is one of those stories that no one here or anywhere want to touch, because it will meet the same old line "you are dogging your own race". I say the hell with the "race thing". I know many will not agree with me and will call me a "sellout nigger" for even bringing this up, but if my wife was white and she lives with me in a changing neighborhood and some black man or men (wolf pack)sees her as an easy target, because she is married to me, then I will be that man's/men's executioner if I knew who he/they are and where he/they live. ~ Roberto
