Mad Scientist:
There is an interesting article on the web site of www.africana.com called "Dreadlocks and Lederhosen: Black Germans Under Seige", by Miranda Pyne, about the one millions people of african descent who reside in Germany and the rising racial tensions by the rightist movement against them. ~ Roberto

If you have not seen my recommendation for this book in the recommended reading of "News and Information of this web Site, check it out or go to Amazon.com. This fascinating account of the life history of a bi-racial son of a black African of Liberian descent and a white German woman in Germany prior to the rise of Adolf Hitler will be a international blockbuster. Two major movie series are planned, one in Germany, and the other here in the United States of this man who lived to see it all as a black german of mixed race ancestry before the war that Hitler caused, the rising of racial hate, his survival as a black child in Nazi Society, to the war years, the aftermath, meeting Jim Crow segregation in the United States for the first time, and how he sees racism in the U.S. then and now.
He compares racism toward IR couples to what he experienced in Germany, and where he sees Germany heading today as well as the U.S. He speaks very candidly of interracial relationships in Germany and the United States and how he went on to be a journalist, and became the managing editor of Ebony magazine.
This is truly an epic story of a white woman and black man relationship, and the life story of their Bi-Racial Son surviving in a world of ultimate race hatreds. ~ Roberto
